Plasform® - Clean and Specialist Environments

Why specify?
In environments where contamination is of paramount importance, the need to install fully integrated and validated doorsets, where the frame and door leaf are designed and manufactured to operate as a single unit, is vital.

Plasform® doorsets are capable of meeting the following performance criteria:

Easy to keep clean – Plasform® doorsets have rounded, postformed edges. They can incorporate innovative flush glazing options with flat surfaces which minimise the build up of airborne particulates and can be wiped or washed clean as is the case with Plasform® WR.
Antimicrobial – the Hygieniform facing of Plasform® does not support the growth of bacteria.
Facing options – a wide choice of facing options includes decorative laminates, impact resistant PVC (Hygieniform) and a back-printed clear facing.
Resistant to chemicals – the Hygieniform PVC, laminate and clear PVC facings are resistant to a wide range of commonly used chemicals.
Sealable – air and smoke seals can be fitted to maintain pressure differentials and help prevent external contamination.
Food Safety – all facing materials have been comprehensively tested for use in the food hygiene environment.
Low maintenance – increased impact resistance reducing the risk of particulate generation.
BS EN ISO 12128 – interlock systems for PCL4 can be achieved.
BS EN ISO 14644 – inclusion of seals ensures that pressure differentials are maintained. Plasform® non-shedding doorsets assist in maintaining a particulate-free environment.

Note: Certification is available upon request, please contact our Technical Services Department on 01773 530 500 for more information.
